By joining our friendly team your time will provide extra funding to help Kent Wildlife Trust create a Wilder Kent. Based at our Visitor Centre in Sevenoaks, this role will allow you to support a great cause in the heart of your community while learning new skills and meeting new people. From serving customers to creating eye-catching displays, whatever your skills, whatever your passion, we have a role to suit you.

What does this role involve?

We are looking for volunteers to help us to deliver a fantastic experience in the café, shop and visitor centre. To be a Visitor Services Assistant Volunteer you must have great customer service skills, be approachable and be happy to strike up a conversation with anyone who walks in. You’ll be happy to help out however you can to ensure the smooth running of the Visitor Centre.

A day in your life might include...

From welcoming visitors to serving cups of coffee, using the till to merchandising stock. We love our volunteers to be involved in all aspects of running our visitor centres and ensuring that our visitors have a memorable experience- you’ll be able to make a real difference to how our visitors engage with KWT.

When would we like you to be available?

Volunteers generally commit to one of two shifts a week but we are flexible in working around your other commitments.

Experience and skills required
