Fight the crisis, invest in nature

Wilder Carbon is part of the Kent Wildlife Trust Group and works with other Wildlife Trusts and a coalition of experts from business and academia to deliver high-integrity carbon units enabling investment in genuine long-term nature restoration whilst addressing the climate crisis.

The nature crisis is as critical as the climate crisis. One exacerbates the other. Both need to be tackled at once. We must act now by investing in nature to make the UK wilder for people and wildlife, locking up carbon for future generations. This is the green recovery we need.

Climate collapse and environmental collapse are two existential crises that the world is facing. Neither is being addressed with the speed required. But there is something we can do. By restoring native habitats, we can both capture carbon and provide substantial co-benefits including the recovery of biodiversity and abundance.

Our Wilder Carbon Standard ensures that our conservation projects in the UK have a long-term impact on carbon reduction and biodiversity improvement. These projects are then matched with UK buyers who are actively reducing their own emissions. Wilder Carbon is the preferred choice for investors and carbon unit buyers who prioritise the protection of nature over profit. Nature is the foundation that we all depend on, and it is crucial to protect and restore carbon-rich habitats across the UK for the benefit of the climate, wildlife, and society.
