Marine wildlife is an inspiration for the people of Kent and the UK, who value the sea for the many varied reasons it supports our quality of life, from being a place for commerce to a place of play, to a place of beauty. You can get involved with our vital marine survey programmes as a diver or a shore volunteer.

Kent’s wildlife needs your help. By making your garden welcoming to nature you can create those vital stepping stones and corridors that creatures such as hedgehogs need. Wild About Gardens celebrates gardening for wildlife and offers the chance to talk to our volunteer advisors for ideas about how to do even more for nature with your own wild patch.

Identifying the species is easier than you might think and we have a support and training network to support and develop our volunteers.
