This Christmas, Kent Wildlife Trust have an array of festive family events taking place across the county, including Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Romney Marsh and Canterbury. So gather the family and dive in to some festive fun!

Christmas at Tyland Barn

As Christmas approaches, we're feeling festive at Tyland Barn! Bring the family to create a nature inspired lantern to use as we head off to explore the grounds on a seasonal trail. Can you help us make sure all the animals' winter wishes come true? After all that exploring, it will be time to relax and warm up with a hot chocolate made on the campfire.

Family Workshop: Christmas Nature Arts and Crafts at Romney Marsh

Learn how to create eco friendly Christmas decorations by taking part in our Christmas Nature Arts and Crafts Workshop at our Romney Marsh Visitor Centre. Children taking part will be given the opportunity to create a variety of Christmas decorations using natural materials. Even the garden birds will get a Christmas treat this year as children taking part can also try their hand at making a bird food Christmas wreath!

Christmas at West Blean & Thornden Woods, Canterbury

Join us for a wintery workshop in the woods, as we try different ways of making Christmas decorations using natural materials. Afterwards, gather around the campfire for a hot chocolate and marshmallow toasting with Kent Wildlife Trust's Forest School team. You can also explore the reserve during your visit, so wrap up warm and head off on a refreshing walk before or after your session.
