Highland Cow - Adoption Toy

Highland Cow

The iconic Highland cow is seen on many Kent Wildlife Trust reserves and is crucial in helping us achieve our conservation aims, clearing large areas of scrub and all manner of vegetation. They are handsome, docile and friendly herd animals and people love them.

Seal - Adopt a Species Toy

Seal

Kent is home to an important population of grey seals, and your one-year adoption could help us further protect these magnificent creatures, that can be seen basking at reserves including Sandwich & Pegwell Bay.

Chough adoption pack

Chough

In 2023, as a result of four decades of chalk grassland restoration, these charismatic birds are emerging from our history books and legends. They are about to return to our skies, thanks to a partnership between Kent Wildlife Trust and Wildwood Trust.

Bison - Adopt a Species Pack

Bison

European Bison can now be found in Kent, and we are proud to announce the birth of a baby bison too! In the UK, lack of woodland management is one of the eight biggest drivers of species decline. Wilder Blean aims to bring transformational change through a controlled trial with bison; a missing keystone species that can naturally manage woodlands.

Owl - Adopt a Species Toy

Barn owl

The numbers of these beautiful birds of prey have declined in Britain due to habitat loss such as the reduction of derelict old buildings used for nesting, and the use of pesticides. Kent Wildlife Trust works to save, restore and protect habitats such as grassland and scrubland that these graceful birds need in order to survive.
