About the reserve

This is one of the Trust's smallest reserves. Several streams run through Ivy Hatch and as a result there are many wetland plants. The American skunk-cabbage has spread considerably; sphagnum moss grows in several areas, and there are numerous common spotted-orchids. The wood is formed mainly of sallows, alder, hazel and oak on the drier parts.
