Where we spend our money
Almost all our funds are spent on local conservation action. By supporting Kent Wildlife Trust you really are helping to support the wildlife and wild places in your area.
Grant income
To help us make a bigger impact for nature, Wildlife Trusts also receive funding from corporate partners, charitable Trusts and grant-making bodies. Grants are usually awarded for specific projects. They are given by local authorities, landfill tax operators like the Biffa Award, statutory agencies, governments. We also receive support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the The National Lottery Community Fund.
Because it's a local charity and you can see where the money goes, and appreciate the hard work that goes into it.Kent Wildlife Trust member
Supporter giving
Roughly 44% of our income is generated from our supporters through membership subscriptions, appeals, donations and legacies.
Every single one of our supporters is at the heart of what we do. You make our work possible – from protecting threatened wildlife like bats, dormice and bees to saving and restoring some of the county's wild places and inspiring the next generation of children to love nature. Every donation we receive makes a difference. Thank you.
